I went to Takayama, Gifu, Japan to take photos of a girl.
The girl is studying priest to become her father's temple's chief priest.
She is 26 years old now. She will cut her long hair to ascetic practice to become priest at February 27th for 2 weeks.
The ascetic practice is very hard. If she get frostbite, they can not go down form mountain. When they need to hospitalization, they can go down the mountain. However, the ascetic practice will stop.
